OMG! DRAMA!

I couldn’t help but blog about this:

Kelly calls the studio this morning and totally disses this gal, Heather, a co-worker. Heather is out with everyone in the office for lunch-meeting and the only one back at the office is Kelly. She calls her to pull up an e-mail from her account. Gives her the login and gives heather the info.

To her dismay, fingers wandered and Kelly found a bunch of emails about HER!!! Heather and the other girls had been writing all kinds of smack about Kelly! She calls us and blasts her and gets nuts and gives out her email on the AIR!  heatherrb@yahoo.com   LOL!

DRAMA!

What should we do? we’re getting the emails written to Heather now. God you people are so evil!…but I kinda love it.

What’s gonna happen to Kelly?  What’s gonna happen to Heather?

Amanda wants to read the emails at 8:40 tomorrow, Wednesday morning.

Leave me your comments!

Love,

Scottso-

hey guys…wow! I heard all that on the radio this morning and i just had to shake my head. ever since high school i always tried my best to stay away from the drama. but as everyone knows, thats impossible. my thing is…How old r these girls and they are still acting like they are in high school!!! i mean, grow the hell up! i’m only 20 and i think its just ridiculous…i work at wegmans and honestly, if i found out ppl were talking about me, i would ask them personally about it and deal with it at least somewhat maturely. its ridiculous but makes good radio!! haha, keep up the good work.

    sincerly,

OMG! I heard all this go down morning too. What a mess! Personally, I think Kelly shouldn’t have browsed through Heather’s other emails, but let’s face it… curiosity gets the best of us all. Has anyone considered the idea that perhaps Heather wanted Kelly to see the “smack”? Who in their right mind gives someone full access to their email account without considering what that person might see once in there. As far as sharing the fall-out email on the radio… I say no. While on one hand it does make good radio, on the other it was an invasion of privacy on both accounts in the first place and you’ll only be promoting their poor behavior choices.

To be honest, I think I’m more bewildered by the response your show had with all of this this morning. It’s to be expected that there is a lot of needless drama around the office and wherever it is this girl works (I think she can safely ross “trustworthy and professional” off of her resume). But how could you let her get on air and plaster another person’s e-mail address all over your website with the original goal to simply bombard her with even more drama from people she doesn’t even know? I realize even if you did screen calls (not implying you don’t), people are still very unpredictable. But still… what if that had been a phone number or an address? So I have to wonder… am I more annoyed by the stupidity of the original caller or the stupidity of the media that thrives on it? It’s probably a toss up.

WOW!! Scott you guys so have to read those emails on the air. Its time to bring those emails out of the locker room and into the ring with your listeners. I am so stoked to hear these emails!! Good call Amanda Valentine, reading the emails on the air…..you could call it “Airmail”.

Keep the frieken drama for the stage!!! I work in a high school and have enough drama each day to produce a smash hit on Broadway!!!! :-)

At first I was thinking, oh dear, she was set up. But then I was thinking, why was she going through other e-mails when she was only asked to look for a specific one?

If they have problems with each other, they need to talk them out rather than e-mailing others!!

Whatever people…they really need to grow up!!!

    Love you guys.

This is so sad… but I’m finding it is a part of life. How do you not let this kind of thing affect you? My daughter just turned 12 and has been going through this exact same thing for two years! What is wrong with people… 10 year olds are spreading rumors and bad mouthing people in this way. The girls at my kids school were “gossiping” about my daughter because she shared some personal information. They had a project to do on what they learned over the summer and my daughter did hers on “loving the ones around you because you never know how long they will be here” it was about how she lost My Uncle (to cancer) and my cousin (to a tragic drowning accident that eh hum…. involved pot) two months apart from each other and how my mother has a heart condition. Did these girls get the message? Noooooooooooo they talked bad about her saying, “she just wants everyone to feel sorry for her”, and instructed everyone not to talk to her. Here my daughter was trying to send out the message to not hold petty things against people and accept them for who they are and she got that in return.
It doesn’t start in high school these days and as we already know……. it never ends!

    Hey guys,
I think this whole office drama will never be totally “sovled” but I have a theory…ever notice how when a person retaliates so quickly and harsh like Kelly is that maybe it’s because she WAS GUILTY and is trying to divert the attention away from the TRUTH and back on the person who let it out? I’ve seen that happen so many times, anything to put the blame on someone else so your reputation isn’t ruined or so no one thinks bad about you. Not saying that IS what has happened here but definitly a possibility.
And now b/c of all this, unfortunately both girls look GUILTY and HAVE ruined their reps. What goes around comes around….have we not learned this YET??
    Keep up the great work!
