GEOCACHING!!!!

Ok, I found the coolest thing to do!!! Doesn’t matter if you do it with friends, lovers or your kids. It’s called Geocaching.

Combine, hiking and treasure hunting into one and you got it! All you need is a hand-held GPS, the internet and a love for some adventure! (Come on, there’s a little Indiana Jones in all of us…)

Some are easy, some are difficult…and they’re EVERYWHERE!!! there’s little Cache’s (pronounced-CASH) in your neighborhood. there’s all kinds of hidden boxes hiding right under your nose.

The object: track the hidden stash with your gps and dont let anyone see you. Take a trinket people leave and replace it with another, sign the log book and rack-up your conquests. It’s a great sport to do with your kids!

I’ve put up these pictures of me and my boys from last Sunday, we found two in two hours!

goto www.geocaching.com   Make it a totally fun summer!

Let me know what you think or if you do it! Mind you, this is our 3rd find. I’m no expert . :)

COMMENT ME BACK!! Thanks!

I know you’re a big fan of Letchworht, there are probably 20 in the park alone. Stonybrook has 5 or 6, next time you’re down that way.

Hey Scott!! Fairhaven has a hole bunch also, and so do many of the other local parks!! Enjoy the hunt
